At Upasana Healthcare & Hospitals, Mr. Manoj M.S., Director & Chief Operating Officer, embodies this philosophy through his dedication to institutional excellence, strategic growth, and patient-centred healthcare.

Since assuming leadership on 2 June 2025, under the visionary guidance of RP Group Chairman, Padma Shri Dr.B. Ravi Pillai, Mr. Manoj has been instrumental in steering the operations and development of Upasana Healthcare & Hospitals Pvt. Ltd., Upasana College of Nursing, and Upasana School of Nursing. His leadership reflects a clear vision: to strengthen healthcare delivery, advance nursing education, and build an institution where clinical excellence and compassionate care go hand in hand.

A Journey Defined by Experience and Excellence

With over 21 years of experience in healthcare administration and more than 11 years in marketing and sales, Mr. Manoj brings together strategic insight, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of the evolving healthcare landscape.

He holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance, completed in 1994, along with a Master’s degree in Hospital Administration.

Leadership Across Esteemed Healthcare Institutions

Before joining Upasana, Mr. Manoj served as Chief Administrator of the 500-bedded N.S. Hospital, Palathara. His distinguished professional journey also includes senior leadership positions as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Administrator, and General Manager at Azeezia Medical College, Badr Al Sama Group of Hospitals, Oman, Sunrise Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, and KIMS, Thiruvananthapuram.

Mr. Manoj has further enriched his professional perspective through participation in the Royal College of Physicians, London, Asia Conference in 2006, the Quality Health Care Conclave on Safety and Quality in Healthcare organized by KIMS, Thiruvananthapuram, and a Biomedical Waste Management Workshop conducted by the National Safety Council in association with the Government of India and the Kerala State Pollution Control Board in 2008.

At Upasana, Mr. Manoj works closely with the management team and healthcare professionals to advance hospital operations, support expansion initiatives, and strengthen the institution’s position in the healthcare and medical education sectors. His leadership is guided by a forward-looking vision that embraces progress while preserving the human values at the heart of healing.
